In school I had to wear shirts that were 3 times too big because I grew up in the era of impossibly short shirts. I could not find shirts long enough to tuck in unless they were also wide enough to fit five of me across. Every single time I raised my hand in class I also had to grab and hold down my shirt because it would ride up high enough to see my bra. Why was I not constantly in trouble for this...? Because everyone else had the same problem. That's just the way they made clothes back in the 90's.

i was first cat called when i was 8 years old and when it happened i was horrified i looked up to men because i thought they were supposed to protect woman since there "so strong" but i think that was the first time i realized that that was completley wrong

I got sent home from school by my math teacher one day because i was wearing leggings. I swear the only thing i can wear on tag days is like sweatpants and i sometimes run out because all of them are in the wash so im sorry miss girl i didnt know people seeing what shape my legs are is innappropriate. Fun fact the teacher was wearing leggings.

I kind like when they give uniforms though, so I don't have decide what to wear and shop for different clothes for school

Tell it like it is! No dress code in the world stops the boy from imagining what it looks like underneath those clothes. I don't care if you wear a coat all day! The dog always chases the cat when he knows it's a cat, and the dog only wants to play. In the beginning the was no such thing as clothes. We weren't born with clothes. Laws were made so that we have to wear clothes. There are no laws stating there's a dress code. We just know there are certain areas that must be covered. Yet it's ok to have magazines, pictures, and videos that defy the law. No is no! Yet in the courtroom when there's a case of SA, they pick apart the victim. They try to get any dirt the can to verify that the victim was asking for it or deserved it. No is no! What a female did with one person doesn't mean it's an open season free for all. If you're not invited to explore, keep your hands to yourself. It's called common sense. Girls have hormonal urges too. Don't give boys a free pass by blaming it on urges. Teach them how to keep those urges in check and have some respect.

I just don’t get why they say that teenage boys can’t control themselves there are boys that can’t and won’t control themselves but that’s something the school needs to do instead of telling girls what should wear schools need to keep an eye on the boys some boys like me can control themselves coz of how my parents raised me maybe the school should talk to the boys parents instead of telling girls they can’t show shoulders 😂

when i was eleven i was being sexualized constantly and like, the fact that this is going on everywhere? I just feel a burning anger hearing it, and honestly more should be done about it.

This one time like 4 weeks ago. I got suspended for wearing pajamas to school. I was told “it was distracting boys.” But when I looked around boys was wearing shorts, sweatpants, and tank tops. I asked them why they didn’t suspend boys. They said “I owe you not explanation but if you read the student handbook it reads. No girls are allowed to wear anything that may or can distract boys.” I was upset that I couldn’t wear my Pajamas to school. Remind you I wasn’t showing any skin because I had on a hoodie and pajama’s that reached my ankles. But they claimed that I was being “disrespectful “ by asking them that..😂Schools need to change their dress codes! I got sent home for 3 whole days. Days I could’ve been in the classroom learning for the state tests. But apparently they didn’t feel that way🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

My school got so much back lash for dress coding kids so now we have posters and the school encouraging expressing yourself through what you wear as long as it isn't offensive

That's why Uniform is the best. In India there is school uniform through the whole school and students don't have to overthink about the pair of clothes they have to wear the next day to be not picked on.

I feel like the boys dresscode is just "Hey, maybe, like, just keep all your clothes on and you should be a-okay"

I once wore a hoodie ( an oversized one ) and long sweat pant and a boy of my highschool tried to assault me when i was going home even though i didn't even leave the class yet . The whole class ( and the teacher ) saw him . I slapped the shit out of him and the teacher yelled at ME and told me i was asking for it . Life is not fair .

Hi! I would appreciate it if you’d take the time to read this very important message :) Because there is a God, the God of the Bible, that is going to judge us all on the day of judgement. Because we’ve all sinned against Him, and criminals, just like in our court, get sentenced. How do you know you’ve sinned? Well, you know if you’ve sinned, if you’ve broken God’s law: the ten commandments. So for example, if you’ve lied, stolen, blasphemed God’s name (using His name instead of a cussword, saying omg etc.) Looked with lust (Mattthew 5:28), hated somebody (Matthew 5:22, ‘cause if you hate someone, you basically wish for their death), you are going to head to hell on the day of judgement. Because God is so holy and righteous, that anyone that is even a little unrighteous, can’t even be near God. And God is goodness and love itself, so you will end up in hell, eternal prison, because of your sins. But there is good news! Because, because of Jesus, there is a way to be with God in heaven. John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life. Jesus came down to earth and died on the cross, so that we can be made righteous. Because of His sacrifice when we turn away from our sins (repent of them, confess and forsake them) and trust in Jesus Christ! Because of His sacrifice our debt can be paid. It’s like when we did a crime and we got fined, but Jesus already paid it for us. Now all we have to do is repent of our sins and trust in Him and then we will be righteous in the sight of God, because we now believe in Him, and we will be made new! We will hate sin and hate our old life and we will start living for God and receive His Holy Spirit! Because Jesus is the ONLY way, truth and life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. (John 14:6) And after His death, Jesus rose from the dead and defeated death! He has overwon death and will grant us eternal life, when we repent and trust in Jesus Christ! Please think about this and come to Jesus, the loving Savior :) I hope you have a wonderful day/night! <3 Ps: if you really wanna know more about Jesus and what He’s all about, I encourage you to start reading the gospel of John in the new testament!

I live in Portugal and my school doesn't have a dress code so i feel very lucky, and also sorry.

I feel dress code is where the actual partiality starts.. like why don't they teach boys instead or along with teaching girls because instead of aiming at the perment solutions these schools aim at temporary solution which eventually will be of 0 worth after school..
